Jackie and Jenny love each other in that special sisterly way. They share so much time together ? playing games, riding in the car, watching television, making art projects and talking. For the most part they really enjoy being together and sharing all that time together. I once asked Jackie who her best friend was and she said, "Jenny because I play with her all the time." Jackie hates when we are busy and she doesn?t have time after school to play at home with Jenny or watch a video with Jenny. Jenny certainly has no closer friend than her sister.
Despite a big age gap (3 1/2 years) they often find things to do together that they both enjoy. Jenny is pretty willing to participate in any games or toys that Jackie suggests. Jackie has gotten her sister to learn about lots of characters like Harry Potter. Some things they both enjoy are Harry Potter, Barbies, Polly Pockets, the television show Arthur, most Disney movies, dressing up, playing in the sand or dirt, and making things.
Sisters also don't always get a long with each other. Jackie and Jenny are no exception. They argue and yell at each other. Sometimes they grab and push, but that behavior is not allowed so it happens infrequently.
They don't always agree on what to watch on TV, how to play a game or whose turn it is for something. They are both highly opinionated and they both hate to back down. When someone is in a bad mood and a solution just can't be agreeable to either one then I separate them. Jackie once said, "I don?t want to be separated. Then, I won?t have anyone to play with!" Usually, we talk it out and work on a solution. I do appreciate how they usually do try to work on solutions and try to work things out. It's not always easy sharing the same space and toys all the time but they manage pretty well.
Sisters, good and bad, learning to love at all times.
It sounds like they have a wonderful relationship. The pictures are great. I like the flowers in the background and the way you placed the pictures. This is just very lovely.
take care,
Dawn
