Note: The main journaling explains about the visit to Ariel's Grotto. The side journaling on the far right and far left explain the other things we did at California Adventure.
Main Journaling:
Jackie gushed and giggled.
"She told me it was a dinglehopper and it was for combing hair," Jackie said, "She put it in my hair and started combing it!"
Jackie giggled again.
"I told her it was a fork and you used it for eating!" Jackie shouted, waving her hands in the air.
In the relaxed atmosphere of Ariel's Grotto, Jackie and Jenny met Ariel sitting on her seahorse. They talked, got autographs and got photographs with Ariel. It was the most memorable moment at Disney's California Adventure.
We ate lunch at Ariel's Grotto, a restaurant near Paradise Pier. After checking in, we sat down and ordered from a varied menu selection. While we waited, Disney characters came to our table. Chip, Dale and Goofy visited us. Goofy gave Jenny a hug and sat next to her in the booth. When Ariel arrived on her seahorse Mike took the girls to meet her. At one point, Disney characters handed out musical instruments. They formed a small band and they marched around the restaurant. Both Jackie and Jenny joined the band.
When lunch arrived, we had to convince the girls to return to the table and eat. Jenny's meal, Mickey Chicken Nuggets, was served in a sand bucket with the ketchup in the shovel. Jackie also got a bucket and shovel with her meal. After tasting a nugget, Jackie wanted to eat Jenny's Mickey nuggets instead of her own food. Mike and I had pasta dishes, a nice change from hamburgers. The waiter served dessert afterwards. It was a plate of pink cotton candy, which we all shared.
Very nice work!

Wonderful photos! This is another fabulous page. Your journaling is great. How cool to get the chicken in a pail...with the ketchup on the shovel. Your colors are nice. I like how you used the slide mounts on your page.
take care,
