Welcome to Detroit “Deon”… Your 1st flight to Michigan ended early in the morning with a Denny’s moon over my hammy and some rest (wink wink). The day restarted with dinner at Irene’s Soulfood and a trip to the Palace of Auburn Hills to see the Detroit Pistons play against Indiana Pacers. This was another 1st for you.
Here are a few things about that night I will never forget. I will never forget how I got the tickets. Online the game was sold out but, Ryan (my inside connection) had some tickets on reserve and hooked me up with 2 good seats the day before the game. I was like PERFECT! You would love this and, you did. I will never forget how cold it was outside when we were walking from the car to the Palace (Southern California never gets this cold) you looked so cold. And last but not least, I will never forget how much I enjoyed being with you.
Oh yeah! Because you were in town Detroit won against the Pacers just for you! I told them I was trying to make a good impression so they better win hahaha. Game day ~ February 23, 2006
