This is a day in his life that I am sure Steven is not very proud of. Before he met Rachel he had gotten a reckless driving ticket. When the kids met Rachel was under the assumtion that it had all been taken care of. WRONG! They got married in July and one night a couple of months later, they got stopped on the way home and the police officer told him that he had a warrant out for his arrest. Rachel talked him into going down to the police station to straighten it out in early October. The first thing that they did was put him in jail! Rachel called me crying, wondering what to do. He had a court appearance that same day. Turns out he had gotten 7 days community service that he didn't do, so they put him behind bars for a week. They had made plans that weekend to house sit for a friend of ours who was gonna be gone for a few days, so Rachel went to stay by herself, I drove there to stay with her and when her job was done she stayed with us for the rest of the week. I hope Steven learned from this experience!
