Description:Love this pic of my daughter but when I first saw it I couldn't help but feel a little surprised. This is now her idea of dress up-a far cry from all the sequins and boas of yesterday! We have a lady in our town that puts on teas for groups of girls and we took our Girl Scout troop. I got a lot of fun pics that day and this is going to be a 2 pager when I can find some more of this paper.
A glimpse…a hint, a whisper of the woman you’ll one day be. Shelby, when I look at you dressed up, I am amazed by how much you’ve grown. You will always be my baby girl, but you are no longer a baby. You can walk comfortably in heels, apply lip gloss beautifully, fix your own hair, choose an appropriate outfit and accessorize! More importantly you have grown so much inside. You show kindness and consideration for others, have a strong sense of fairness and will speak up when you should. I am so proud of you and of the young lady you are becoming.
