Description:This is the first page of my "While You Were Gone" album. Hubby is deployed for about 8 months(not to Iraq though) so I'm documenting every week of the happenings here at home. The reality is, I'm single parenting 2 babies and there's no time to scrap so we'll see if I can really do this *sigh*.
But this is our last family photo before leaving. I've had this paper for sometime, but didn't know how to use it, so when I saw a similar layout in CK's June 07 issue, I had to lift it. TFL :)
WOW! What a beautiful family and thought for your hubby!! God bless him for serving our country and god bless that man! Praying for a safe and happy return home soon!
Keep focusing on the positive during the deployment. As a military wife myself, I feel your pain! Don't get down on yourself if you don't get a page done every week. When my husband is gone, though, I usualyy stay up late an evening a week just to get some quiet time to myself. Sometimes it would be to take a hot bath, other times to scrap.
