This is how my dd dresses for swim practice at the end of the year. They add additional torn up suits and tights to make their muscles work harder to get their body through the water. When they take the drag off for the final "big" meet, they go faster. It sounds silly, but it works for her. I think it just looks so darn silly. She does search high and low for the wildest tights she can find.
