Winters, Texas
A small town on the eastern edge of West Texas.
Population 2,280
Winters is a farming community, our farm is north of town.
There are two other major industries.
One company makes truck tool boxes and teh other makes air conditioner vents.
The heart of the community revolves around the school system. Our mascot is the Blizzard. That blue tornado thin, is a Blizzard, as painted on the sidewalk in front of the high school. The white one in the flower bed is at the elementary school. Our school's fight song is original. The first several bars are "Walkin' in the Winter Wonderland" The cafeteria, with the big W in front serves as a community meeting place for fundraisers for anything you can imangine from school clubs, to churches, to money for cancer victims or people who've had a disaster. We take care of each other here.
