I had so much trouble with stamping on this layout. This is the first time I used the SL border for a whole length and they aren'ts very straight. I also messed up the foam stamp title, ended up covering half the page with another sheet of red, and this time I stamped on white CS and cut them out.
This is another use of the sketch from last January as part of the geminnigirl Friday challenge.
This year, Zachary has been developing a love of baseball, just like his Dad. The season started with Zachary wanting to know if his Phillies won each day. We showed him how to check the score on the Internet and now he does his “Baseball check” several times per day. At first he was upset when his team lost, so he decided to root for other teams as well, enough that he would have a winner every day. First he decided to like the Florida Marlins, and then he added the Chicago White Sox, the Boston Red Sox, the Colorado Rockies, and the Tampa Bay Devil Rays. His favorite player is Ryan Howard of the Phillies. He had a great time going to a game on July 30, 2006 where the Phillies beat the Marlins 11-5, and he got to see Mike Lieberthal hit a grand slam. He bought a Ryan Howard shirt at the game. Zachary also loves playing baseball with Dad at home. He bought a real bat and has been working on his swing. He loves running the bases and replaying his favorite games.
