Description: Last winter we had snow that wouldn't pack and we couldn't make a snowman, so I decided to paint the snow to ease my son's disappointment. Now we always paint our snow, and it is how we decorate our snowmen. We had a great snow in early December.
The journaling includes information about what we use to paint the snow in case my son wants to do it with his kids when he grows up and doesn't remember how I mixed the paint. (I use old water bottles with squirt tops, I mix a little washable posted paint with a lot of water and shake it up. It is easy to make, washes away when the snow melts, and the kids can squirt it with mittens on).
