Description:We were so excited on Christmas Eve to get a little bit of snow in Houston, Texas! We played outside in the snow and now we all have colds. It was worth it though. :)
I cut one of the images from the patterned paper to create a pocket for my journaling block. Here is the journaling:
"At about 6:00 p.m. on Christmas Eve I was looking out the window and saw a couple of snowflakes drop on my car. We had heard reports on the news all day that we may see some snow flurries, but I certainly didn't expect what was about to happen. All of a sudden the hood of the car rapidly started turning white. I yelled to you to come to the window and we grabbed our coats and went outside. You, Mimi, and I were so excited to see it actually snowing in Houston! This was your first time seeing snow and the look on your face was priceless. You ran through the front yard with your mouth open to the sky hoping to catch a snowflake. You were able to scoop up enough snow to make some snowballs and even made a mini snowman. I can't think of a better way to begin Christmas Eve!" December 2004
