Description: This is another of my very early pages from my Poetry album. It was just about this time that I began to explore ways to be a more creative scrapper and wound up finding Scrapjazz! Once again, I apologize I have no supplies list.
The photos: one of these is probably the best photo I ever took in my whole life, and it was purely by accident. The other is a commercial shot, taken from a magazine because it fit the subject. I'm so proud of this becaue to my eye, you can't tell the difference!
Vessels
The potter throws upon his wheel
A shapeless lump of clay:
A useless piece of sticky soil
Which most would cast away.
But soon the potter’s work begins,
The wheel begins to turn,
The shaping tools are set to use,
The oven fires to burn,
A graceful shape begins to form
Between the potter’s hands:
Where once a worthless lump of clay,
A lovely vessel stands.
The work of God is always good.
His shaping hands I feel:
God the potter, I the clay,
And life the potter’s wheel.
Fired by all the trials of life
And molded by his will,
I too a sacred vessel stand,
Now ready to be filled.
