Description: I took a Prima 12x12 chipboard and painted the entire thing with Tim Holtz Crackle paint. After it dried I distressed the whole of it with Denim Distress ink and walnut around the edges.
I had saved the two sheets that had held the grungeboard swirls. I liked the looks of it after all the swirls were gone. I distressed these with denim, tea, and brushed corduroy distress inks and used them as overlays to two photos of my daughter, Rachel.
I took a grungeboard heart and distressed the opposite side with brick red distressing Ink. I used the back side so that the dots were not prominent.
The wings, hinges and key are also grungeboard elements. This time I felt that we needed a little sparkle to offset all the distressed pieces, so I painted them gold and added rhinestones.
