Description:I've held onto this movie ticket for over a year now and knew I wanted to scrap it one day. My journaling tells the story of how this ticket cacme about (my first date with my boyfriend) and how he was romantic in holding onto it for months before giving it back to me as part of my birthday gift later that year. TFL! Jen -----------
Journaling reads:
"In a million little ways, you show me just what a romantic you are. This movie ticket was the one piece of evidence from our very first date. We were set-up by a mutual friend and met for the first time on neutral ground – the bar at T.G.I.Friday’s. I was struck by your dark good looks right away. Your smile, wit and the ease of our conversation did me in just moments later. After speaking about work, hobbies and family, we came around to our mutual love of movies. Neither of us had seen “Pirates of the Carribean II: Dead Man’s Chest” and, within minutes, decided that seeing the film would be a great way to extend our first date. You bought the movie tickets and, even as a scrapbooker, I didn’t really think to keep one. You did. You held onto this ticket for months. On our back from the theater, we were pulled over by a state trooper because the work vehicle you were driving until your new car was ready had an expired registration. Thankfully, the trooper took pity on you and sent us on our way. On my birthday, nearly 5 months later, you showed me exactly what impression I had made on you that first date by making this movie ticket part of my birthday gift – with a funny note about the memorable way we ended our first date! Just one more way I knew."
