Description: I am moving over some layouts from another site that is closing. I did this layout in November 2008 for a Color Challenge at another site.
I also did the layout for my Book of Me.
I have wanted to scrap about my fear/admiration for weather and this is it: My whole life I have been fascinated with thunderstorms. In my younger years I was scared to death of storms. As my Dad kept a watchful eye to the sky, I was hiding in the storm cellar with my entourage of stuffed animals, photo albums and my “priceless” treasures.
As I have grown older I have gained alot of respect for storms, I learned from Dad what to notice as a storm approaches and which clouds to be really aware of. This knowledge of storms has lead me to watch fronts, cloud formation, barometeric pressure and admit to many that if I had to chose another career it would have been a meterologist. My heart wrenching fear gradually changed to utter amazement at the wonders of nature. My stomach stillturns at the first sign of a storm, yet I find excitement in the ever changing nature of a storm, but respect its power.
