This is for my Book of Me. Here is my journaling:Growing up I stuggled so with my studies and schoolwork, while the rest of my friends and classmates excelled, I struggled. It seemed that everything was distorted and confusing. Things became alot more clear when we discovered I had a learning disability.
I am dyslexic. I struggled everyday with my disability. Numbers and letters were both a challenge for me. I spent half of my life wondering how and when I would outgrow this “problem” Somewhere along the line I finally did.
I gradually learned how to read things right and how to make numbers work for me. I will abmit it was not easy, but when I look back I am proud of myself. I am proud of my accomplishments. Proud of my ability to adjust....and proud that I made this my greatest accomplishment and no longer a disability.
