Journaling: The Eagles sang about California being the Last Resort, sang about how people called it Paradise, the place to be. After seeing this coastline, I can now understand why people moved west to find their dreams, and why they stayed. I can only hope that Jacob and his generation learn that our land needs to be treated gently, and cherished.
