Description:Letter to my future child. (No, I'm not pregnant.) I was thinking about having kids the other day and this layout just sort of fell together.
Dear Baby,
Today is March 20, 2006. I'm thinking about you today. I'll bet you can't even realize how much I already love you!
Funny thing is…I am not pregnant right now. As of today, you're just a dream inside of my mind and the mind of your daddy. In just a few short months, I'll walk down the aisle and become your daddy's wife. We'll start a family. And for awhile, it will be just the two of us. This is so we can spend some time together, loving each other, and getting ready for you. (And I think we'll get a puppy, just so you have a friend when you get here!)
I'm not sure when we'll decide we're ready for you to enter our lives. And I hope that when that day comes, we'll be able to welcome you a short nine months later. It may take longer, and there may be bumps in the road. But rest assured, little one, there is a spot for you in our hearts, and there will be a special spot for you in our family.
So many questions run through my mind. Will you be a boy or a girl? Will you have my smile? (The same smile that your Aunt & Grandma have?) Will you be a little bit silly, like your Grandpa and me? Will you have your Daddy's eyes? Will you be strong like he is?
My life right now holds a lot of questions. Where will we live after we get married? Will our new place let us get a pet? Can I FINALLY have a scrapbook room all to myself? Life is changing right now, and I'm so sorry to say that things aren't quite ready for you yet. But they will be, someday.
And so, sweet child, that's all for now. I just wanted you to know that I'm thinking of you, and loving you. No matter when you get here, you'll be so loved. Daddy & I will always make sure that you know that.
I can't wait to meet you.
Love,
Mommy

This is so sweet, totally amazing journaling. I wrote a letter to my future child(ren) years ago, this is inspiring - I should try to find it and do something like this. How totally wonderful that you scrapped this!
