Fisher are around this area, but you rarely see them.
Fishers are shy and elusive animals that are rarely seen even in areas where they are abundant. These photos were captured by my coworker when she was out in the woods behind her house. A patient of mine who works for MA Fish & Wildlife said that this is a likely young fisher and might not be well since he let Karin get close enough for a picture.
