Description:Sorry about the blur. This is about a patient of mine who was lost on 9-11.
My journaling is about the effect on Americans, I do not mean to say that this did not effect people all over the world. It is my little piece of the world.
Like many Americans, I can remember exactly what I was doing when I heard about the planes hitting the World Trade Center. Like many Americans, I waited to hear how the people I knew in New York City were. Unlike many Americans, I had to give the dental records to a mom waiting to hear about the identification of her son. Like many Americans, I was left to wonder why a man who was so gentle, and funny, and kind could be taken by people who did not know him. I was left with memories of seeing ***** just before his vacation to the convention in San Diego...happy, enthusiastic, and smiling.

Magnificent lo. I am South African and I can still hardly bear to read about or discuss this tragic day in history. I think you are all heroes in that you have gotten on with your everyday lives. Long may Independence and Freedom rule.
Beautiful LO. It must have been so hard to scrap something that painful, but I think it's important that we all do it, so the next generation doesn't learn it from cold history textbooks. TFS. <3
I am so sorry for what you went through. I have been through similar, can't find it in me to scrap it yet. I admire the strength it took for you to do this page. It is beautiful and I am sure he is smiling down on your for remembering him and paying tribute to his memory.
This LO is so moving! You did a beautiful job with the journaling and I love the subdued colors you used. That picture is still so vivid in my memory. Fantastic job with this LO!
