Journaling: It’s just appalling to me as to how cruel children can be. As a child you were deemed as unattractive to some and ugly to others. I just don’t understand it and it hurts me knowing that you spent even ONE DAY of your life with that hanging over your head. I wish that I would have known this prior to our recent conversations. I might not have been able to take the pain away but I would have tried; even if it meant beating up every kid on the block (I was a tomboy so, that would not have been a problem).
