This is my neighbor's little boy. She was not able to attend his game and I wa there with the camera glued to my face! (Nothing new)
The moments defined papers work so well (in my opinion) with sports pages.

Considering this was your ROOKIE year playing football, you made a VETERAN sacrifice! Most kids would have said “Well….maybe next year“; but not you. Here’s the scoop. YOU needed to loose just a few pounds in order to make the weekly weigh in and maintaining good grades was a must in order for you to stay on this team! In lieu of eating your favorite (Wendy’s nuggets), you ate fruits, vegetables and drank TONS of water. If asked, and quite often you were, about your weight loss. You would share the results with “Marcus style “(monotone) excitement! Instead of playing, like most children do during after school care, YOU did your homework! Did it payoff! YOU BETCHA! Not only did you maintain your grades; your football team (Steelers) WON the Optimist Bowl (Lil’ league Super bowl)!!!! We are so proud of you! Love Always, Mrs. Yolanda and Mr. Rick (Photo 9-04)

Yolanda, this is AWESOME! I love your style, as usual, but your journaling is so wonderful on this. What a great tribute page to this boy's efforts!
