Description:This is our new cat, Miss Farby. I'll let the journaling tell the rest of the story.
We adopted this cat from a friend of Buckett's, who told us the cat was a girl. So, we started picking out girl names. Jackson wanted to name her J.P Tucker (after Dad and Cat's cat), but I wanted a more original name. Jackson had gotten a Furby for Christmas (he pronounces it FARBY), so his next choice for a cat name was Farby. Since it was a girl cat, I suggested Miss Farby. So, our new cat became Miss Farby. One problem: No one had checked to confirm that she really was a girl cat. After we'd had her for a few weeks, I "discovered" that Miss Farby is, in fact, a BOY. Oops! Convincing Jackson that she is really a he has been a challenge. We've decided to let him think what he wants, and he can still call him Miss Farby if he wants - no harm done.
