My two nieces may be cousins, but they're almost sisters!! Truth be known, they're better than sisters...they're best of friends. My niece Shannon (on the left) is an orphan and is now being raised in my sister's home where she and Meaghan have bonded like glue. The girls are best of friends and could be fraternal twins...they sense each other's emotions, they know what the other is thinking, and when one is away the other is lost. The fairest tribute our family has paid to my dearly departed sister is to see the wonderful young woman Shannon is becoming. With the realization that their involvement in each other's lives is a priceless asset we are so very proud in watching both girls grow and mature together...almost sisters!
