Until you were about 15 months, you really had no interest in books
(that didn’t involve throwing).
Then Vicky and Kaya sent you “Hairy Maclary from Donaldson's
Dairy” all the way from New Zealand and everything changed.
You became obsessed with having us read it to you. Daddy and
I, along with all the grandparents, know it by heart!
Soon you decided that you loved all books. You bring us stacks
of them and cuddle in or you will read them out loud to yourself
in your adorable baby babble. I’m so glad you’ve developed a
love of reading – thanks Vicky, Kaya and Hairy Maclary!!
