seconds, you were up to
your elbows in the cold
rainwater that had filled
up your water table on
the deck.
While you keep me
hopping, I wouldn’t
trade you for anything.
Your curiosity and zest
for life makes everything
new and interesting for
me. You are strong willed,
outgoing and maybe just
a tad wild but what can I
say – it keeps life exciting.

teeny, remote chance
that you got that all
from me!!)
