Description:Journalling is printed on a transparency that is sewn on to the layout.
The flower is a rub-on and the rest is my doodling. Thanks to Patter for liking the doodling I did on her card, it inspired me to doodle on a layout!
For anyone else to look at this picture, they might think “Oh, cute little guy on the grass”. To me, it’s so much more – it pulls at my heart just looking at it.
To me, this picture completely captures you in ways I can’t describe. It shows that beneath your incredibly happy, funny side there is a little bit of seriousness. Your intent interest in what everyone else is doing. Your thumb that never fails to comfort you.
I feel like this is one of those pictures that will be imprinted deep in my soul, like a memory tattoo. This photo reminds me of why I take them. To save these little moments, these precious days so that I can cherish them and hold them close in my heart. To remember the warmth of the sun on that day and your face when you first touched the grass. Time slips away quickly and quietly and you change almost daily, it seems. Knowing this makes me treasure this picture even more, this freeze frame of you at 6.5 months. My beloved baby boy, my forever little love.
