Deciding to have a 4D ultrasound while we were in Seattle was probably the smartest decision we’ve made in a long time. I wasn’t sure what to expect as I was only just under 19 weeks pregnant at the time and couldn’t imagine what our tiny boy would look like.
Baby, the minute your precious face came up on the screen, I was in love. For 30 minutes, we got to see you try to suck your thumb, stretch and rub your eyes. It was like having a window in my belly button, getting to watch your every move. It was a memory your daddy and I will cherish forever. For the months ahead, you have to keep growing and getting bigger until it’s finally time for us to meet you. We love you – already you are our beloved, precious son.
