Description:My best friend moved in June to Toronto (which is a 5 hour flight from us) and we went out to see them in the middle of July.

8 and a half month and you are so cute!
I was worried after you moved and I hadn’t seen you in a month that you would forget me but the minute we pulled up to your new house in Toronto and you saw me, you laughed and waved. Your mom had told me that whenever she played the message I recorded for you in the picture frame that you would wave – and then I got to see it for myself! It made me so happy to know that even though we have such a distance between us that you still remember me.
We had such a great visit with all of you – I got to see how you are pulling yourself up in your crib and playpen and how you are into everything.
Besides your mom, dad and me, you now have Uncle Brad around your little finger as well. In the car, you would just sit and stare at him and he has fallen hard! Now when we see a baby, he will say it’s cute – but not as cute as Trey.
We bought you the cutest outfit and when your mom was out at Starbucks (Did you know you were born on the first Egg Nog Latte day of the year? – your mom and I were so proud!) and decided to dress you in it. It was like alligator wrestling! You kept crawling and wriggling away from us – it definitely took both of us to dress you. Guess we had better practice up before we have a playmate for you!
You are so funny – you laugh and smile all the time. Uncle Brad and I were discussing how your parents are so lucky to have such a happy baby – we hope ours turn out like you! You are so adorable and we can’t get enough of you!
You have two little teeth on the bottom right now that look like mini chicklets and you drool up a storm. Uncle Brad says you are leaking and gooing everywhere. Your mom and I thought it would be strange to see you with teeth but of course, like everything else, it looks so cute.
You are so big now! It’s hard to imagine that the tiny baby I saw being born is now this full of energy, full of laughter little boy! You still look like your dad – and you always want to get a hold of the remote – you are all boy, no doubt about that!
I can’t wait to see you and your mom in a few weeks when I marry your Uncle Brad – I miss you all terribly. Your mom has even lent me your bracelet that you got in the hospital for my something borrowed.
It’s been amazing watching you grow these last 8 and a half months – can’t wait for what’s to come.
