Description:My best friend, her husband and baby are moving in a few days (work transfer) and we are all devestated...
This layout is one I've done and haven't showed it to her yet as we are emotional basketcases right now.
(My nickname is K.C. in case you were wondering about his shirt.. My best friend doesn't call me anything but that so I am Auntie K.C to him as well)
Journalling:
Trey,
Before you were born, I felt you kick through your mother’s stomach, poured over the ultrasound pictures and shopped for tiny outfits – only the cutest things would do for you.
I was there when you were born. I saw you take your first breath, heard your first cry and through my own tears, saw the delight and awe in your parents eyes. I loved you from the very second I saw you.
Watching you grow these last 7 months has been incredible – you are so vibrant and alive and interested in everything. From the pictures I’ve seen you look like your dad as a baby but you have a stubborn streak that is very much your mom. I love your parents very much and you are a part of each of them but still, I would have never imagined how much you would mean to me.
The three of you are moving to Toronto in a few days and I have to tell you, that 6 hour plane ride seems like its half way around the world to me – your mother and I haven’t been a part in 11 years and it’s breaking all of our hearts to be separated.
The distance won’t stop me from being your auntie. I want pictures of your first steps, for you to phone me and tell me about your first day of school and to hear about your first goal, home run or bike ride. When you are older, I want to hear about your first girlfriend, the car you are dying to have and how your parents are driving you nuts.
Most of all baby boy, I want you to know that you are
(abc letters) so loved.
