I know everyone probably thinks their bridal shower was the best - but in my case it's true! I couldn't have had a nicer time and being surrounded by the people I love made it that much better.
It was held at Maggies mom's house and she organized an amazing dinner for all of us.
After dinner came the gum game where Lonnie had secretly asked Brad questions previously and everyone went around in a circle and asked one question. If I got it wrong, I had to eat a piece of Hubba Bubba. Let's just say I had no idea the most romantic thing I'd done for Brad was bring him a slurpee and that I ended up eating more gum than I ever thought possible!
Presents were next and I got really spoiled. The two best gifts were a scrapbook that everyone present had created a page for and a round trip ticket to Toronto from Maggie's parents to go visit Maggie, Chris and Trey after they move in June. I think everyone in the room cried at that one along with me!
While I was looking at my scrapbook, my sister handed out lollipops that she had ordered that had a picture of me as a baby on them. They were too cute!
We had cake and coffee and then everyone headed home. I had such a good time and will treasure the memories of the night for a long time!
