On Saturday night, after the event was all over, my roommates and I were in our hotel room, brainstorming on how we could thankyou for what you dreamed and then made a reality. For us it was far more then learning a new technique, or learning how to organize your scrapbook supplies. It was more than classes and supplies. It was a MOMENT…there are so many moments that will occur in our lives but this one will stick with us forever. Amy Stultz, says it well when she wrote, “It was about sisterhood. The kind of sisterhood that usually exists only between the closest and deepest of friends. The kind that breaks racial, age, and social barriers. The kind of sisterhood that wraps you in its arms and says, ‘You mean the world to me. You are someone in my eyes’…It was about us. Women who are incredible, strong, beautiful, and worthy.” We wanted to make this album for you to not only tell you how much we got out of the event…but how thankful we are to you Monique, an incredibly strong, beautiful and worthy woman. You created an event that will forever stick with us and has changed the way we communicate on-line with one another, changed the way we look at our scrapbooking and brought us together for two days and we had a blast! We all look forward to next year…we know it’ll be great, although I wish I could hold onto what I felt that Saturday night as we stayed up losing even more sleep talking about everything that happened. Thankyou! YOU ARE A BEAUTIFUL WOMAN, I only wish I could’ve hung out with you more.
