Alex was the youngest and the smallest player on the team but that didn’t daunt him. Alex was himself, running when and where he choose or not at all. In spite of his stubbornness he was the darling of the field. All the coaches and parents of all the teams simply loved him. At the last game and his last time at bat Alex donned his star shaped sunglasses and swaggered to the plate. The glasses simply summed up his first experience appropriately. Needless to say, he got rave reviews as he took his last swing. He was the star of the moment. He was Alex!
