I really like to see if I can use a piece again in a way that it will have a different look. The overachiever in me did another page LOL! I didn't really know how I wanted to get these pictures done and I am very happy with the timing of the piece I received from Sherrill. I love that picture of Timmy and Rich. (I've blurred the conductors for privacy reasons). The title is made with my sizzix. The letters stickers are RS stickers and under the photo say the date...August 2001. Along the bottom it says chug chug chug. I think it might be kind of dark in the scan. I added a second page to get the extra pictures into the layout.
Journaling:
In August of 2001 Daddy and I took you for a ride on the Cape Cod railroad for a scenic tour. We got there a bit early and waited for the train to come to the station. You were so excited seeing it come down the track. Just as we were about to board I asked the conductor if I could get a picture. I just love this picture of you, Daddy and the conductor. You kept referring to him as Mr. Conductor. That is what the conductor of the Thomas the Tank Engine stories is called. You loved trains, especially the Thomas trains. While we were on the ride the conductor was very entertaining. He sang songs and at one point came out dressed like an old policeman telling a story of the train being robbed. It was fun. The picture of you and the other conductor was taken when he asked if I would take a picture of you and him for his scrapbook!!! It was a wonderful day. I will never forget the excitement you showed. It was more than I could have hoped for!
How neat!!! I love this page! The rustic look and how well the colors go together, plus all the train embellishments! Great layout! Looks like Timmie had a wonderful time :)
Awesome job Dawn. I like the colors but I really like the way you inked the boxes to age them. The photos are great. Me I never have the nerve to ask others to pose for my pictures LOL

Beautiful, Beautiful, Beautiful, as usual Dawn! I love the title page-that title is awesome! The chugs at the bottom of the page and the little trains on the squares on the opposite page are just too cute. Another great page, Dawn!

This is wonderful! I love everything about it...your inking is sooo good...maybe someday, I will be able to do it like that!!! I love the little trains in the boxes and the "chugs" are sooo cute!!! LOVE THIS!
