Description:This is the same piece. Again I turned it around a bit. The pumpkin up top is a slide mount shaker box. I covered it with twistel and filled it with pumpkin seeds. I also inked the edges of the box it is in as well as the title and journaling boxes. After I finished this I found more pictures UGH! I'll have to come up with a second page. The pictures are from 1996 or 1997 I'm not really sure. My nieces were so young then!
Journaling: 1- placed washed pumpkin on covered table. 2- Let Auntie Dawn cut off the top. 3- Get the courage to scoop the goop!
Love this!!!!! Now i am glad i havent scrapped my carving photos yet... i would love to scraplift the seed shaker if you dont mind!!!???
Another fantastic LO!

This is fantastic! I love the colors and the ribbon you used. i have tried to do the wrap thing on the slide mount but it always slides off the corners and it soooo frustrating. A 2nd page will be easy -- just use purple for the back and mount photos on orange with a strip of the gigngham ribbon horiz across the bottom and orange below it, as a border. It can go on the right side with this one as a spread.
This is so good. I love the shaker out of the slide and to think of putting real pumpkin seeds in it is genius, lol! Seriously, I love the LO. And it doesn't look at all like a man's hairy chest!!!

i love the idea for wrapping slide mounts, i did the same thing with one of my layouts, i didn't have enough slides for the same layout so i covered 2 in ribbon.
I love the colors you used and the composition of this
