Description:When I first received my inspirational piece I just didn't like. THe funny thing is two people on separate occasions said it reminded them of a man's hairy chest LOL! I looked at it for a while and decided to just sketch out the outline of the piece. I turned it around a couple of times and this is what I cam up with.
I did a lot of punch art on this.
Journaling: It is wonderful how our senses play such an important role in our memories. When you hear certain song your thoughts travel back in time to the moment that it touched your life. Maybe it is the smell after a summer rain that reminds you being a child. When I see these flowers that grew in your garden it reminds me of you, Nana. The way you filled my life with love and how the older I got the more that love "bloomed". You have forever touched my heart!
Oh! Oh! Oh! How lovely! The journaling -- so lovely. And that you put a framed photo of Nana in here and stamped her name...oh this is anothe rone that should be submitted! (but I keep looking for a hairy chest...???)
This is so pretty. It makes me think of my Granny's Iris garden. I've been wanting to do something with those pics so I'll probably have to scraplift this! I'm glad you thought to sketch out the inspiration challenge. I don't think I would have thought to do that!

Wow, where do I start on this one? Your punch art is gorgeous, the photos are lovely, the tag is adorable, I love how you've put a photo of Nana in the frame. The colours are divine (purple is my favorite!). But most of all I love your journalling - it is so very true. Whenever I hear pigeons I think of my Nanna's house. Whenever I smell hay or dried grass I think of my other Nanna's house. Thanks for sharing.
