Description:I'm finally getting to my first sketch. I chose 42 because that will be my age in a couple of weeks and I liked the idea of doing a sketch that matched your age. It made choosing the sketch easier :).
I also just got a quickutz so of course I had to use it.
The title box says: We have not inherited the earth from our fathers. We are borrowing it from our children (native american saying). The journaling on the tag says...
The first warm day in April daddy got out the rake to clean the back yard and you took advantage of playing in the leaves. I don’t’ know if the look on your face or the warm sun warmed me more!
Great layout Dawn, I love the old indian quote. Great journaling too. I think you did a great job on the sketch and I love the novel way you picked it. LOL

Dawn: What a nice layout. I love the colors. That quote has always been one of my favorites! (I am retired EPA employee) I never thought of using it on a page! Now, Im gonna have to! I love the title (great exacto skills!). The pics are great.

Amazing to me that the same sketch looks so different every time I see it done... That Becky Higgins is a genius! I love how you journaled this, also! I am very partial to bees, also :)

Super job with the sketch, Dawn! I have a hard time following those, so I'm always impressed when I see a good layout based on the sketches! I love the colors you chose, and that saying is perfect!! Super layout!!
