Description:I spent ALL DAY on this. Every time I try using my color blocking template I end up rearranging everything many times and it doesn't even look like the original template that I chose. I spent well over an hour searching for a poem or quote to go with this page and when I couldn't find anything I wanted I wrote my own :) (be kind!)
I got to use the Mustard Moon paper that I finally ordered...just love that paper!!
A winter’s day with Daddy
Playing in the snow
He stayed home to play with me
Though there were places he could go
First we made some snowballs
And rolled them round and round
We placed the biggest snowball
Upon the frozen ground
We piled high the balls of snow
Wrapped them warm in woolen clothes
We found some rocks to make his eyes
And a carrot for his nose
Daddy stayed to play with me
In the cold and blustery snow
He stayed to build my snowman
Though there were places he could go
Wowza..I've never seen five pages of comments before..hehe. But I can see why...this page is great too! I always admire color blocking pages because I just stink at it...LOL

Ooo, I love everything about it! The poem is awesome! I have the color blocking templates - and I've enjoyed them. Getting the idea book - hope it will let me do something as beautiful as this!
Dawn - this is completely wonderful. I just love it. Thanks so much for sharing it... I'm becoming more and more enamored of the color blocking and this tells me why! WOW!

Dawn, -- This is truly amazing. I am a sucker for snowmen and playing in the snow with my grandchildren. I can't believe the nice job on the poem. You are talented. You must never sleep. I know from scanning a lot that you remark on almost every page and you can still have time to do beautiful LOs like this. The colors, the embellisments, everything is perfect. Great job!

This is GORGEOUS, Dawn!!!!! It's a good thing you didn't find a poem to go with it because what you wrote is absolutely perfect and adds so much to the page and the memories behind the pictures! Beautiful job!
I scrapped a snow page recently, too...when I recover it from my old computer I'll post it :) I've been having 'puter problems lately...ugh!
Thanks also for the kind welcome and comments on what I posted. I really know I'm going to love it here already :)
Sorry...didn't mean to write a book...LOL.
