Description:My ds was born with club feet. This layout is about one of his check ups. The larger photo has a mat with square holes. I was going to try to weave in it but it didn't look right. To give some balance I did the same thing to the black strip on the tag. For you talented people this might not mean much but I drew that foot myself LOL!!!!
Journaling:
Months before you were born we knew that you were going to have clubfeet. It didn’t come as a surprise on the day you were born. When the doctor brought you to me I looked at your feet but was immediately drawn to that sweet face of yours. I had waited so long for you and I knew at that moment there wasn’t a more beautiful baby in the world. I wish that moment were frozen in time.
I was filled with so much love that day. There you were, really here. We had so many scares along the journey to your birth. There was a time when the doctors told me that there was a good chance you would not make it. I had never been more scared in my life. My heart ached a pain I’ve never felt. We passed that first major hurdle.
On May 7, 1998 I found out that there was a problem with your feet. When September came and I held you for that first time my thoughts raced towards your future. How would this affect your life? Would you be able to have a normal childhood… running, jumping and playing? I knew that my love for you was stronger because of that.
You only needed six months of castings, another few months of special shoes and at least a year stretching your feet four times a day. We had regular check ups at Children’s Hospital with Dr. Millis. We call him your piggy toe doctor! These pictures were taken in January 2001 at one of your appointments.
I think this is a very special layout.
I like the journaling a lot and this will
mean a lot to him when he is older, I am sure.
I love how crisp and neat looking this is!

I love this layout Dawn, and what sweet, heartfelt journalling. Your son will really see love in this layout when he's a grown man and looking through his scrapbook. :0)
WOW! I love this layout! Your pictures could not be any more adorable! He's such a little cutie
pa-tootie! Your tag is ADORABLE!! And your journaling for this layout is what scrapbooking is allllllll about!!! Pages of love straight from our hearts!!
Oh, Dawn... I'm in tears reading your heartfelt journaling to your little one... I should have known, though, when I clicked on your LO, that I would find something VERY special... Just as SPECIAL as YOU! :) Cute piggies!
Oh Dawn this is a wonderful layout. I love the title with the pig face in it. The tag with the fibers is great and with the added tag too. I like the black strip across the tag and on the matting it adds interest. The little photos at the bottom are a great reminder of the big God we have and how he uses people to help our lives be the best they can be. Your journaling is so heart felt and touching. Thanks for sharing. Great job!
