Description:Sorry for the shadow in the scan :(. The title and journaling are from a children's book called "Williams Doll" by Charlotte Zolotow. It's about a little boy who wants a doll and his older brother and neighbor call him names and his father is sure that he just needs "boy toys". One day his grandmother buys him a doll. The journaling is the grandmother's reply to the father....
He needs it to hug and to cradle and to take to the park so that when he is a father (like you)....he'll know how to take care of his baby and feed him and love him and bring him things he wants ..... like a doll so that he can practice being a father.
Dawn: This is a perfect idea for a pic I have of my son (he is 21 now) but I have a pic of him at about 4 with a cabbage patch kid. His father had a fit when I bought it for him, but his sisters had them and he wanted one. Do you mind if I scraplift? If you wanna..you can email me at dawnee2222@aol.com... eagerly awaiting a yes!
Dawn..this is just sooo sweet!! I'm sooo glad you journaled, though i think he may want to rip the page out when he's older.. :) awesome page!!!!!!!!! love the colors and how you did the journaling! jill
Dawn- this is sooooooo precious! I love the colors. Beautiful LO as usual. Great idea to use book passages for journaling. I never really considered it.
Take care,
Monica
