Description:The scan might not show this well but there is a lovely black line on our wall from ds and his blues clues crayon! The black floss and ribbon in the layout is suppose to imitate the crayon line.
Journaling: I love to decorate for the holidays, especially for Christmas. I even decorate the hall! Daddy was carrying you down the hall one night. He was not aware that a two year old holding a crayon and the wonderful canvas that I like to call the wall was just calling for you to write on it! The crayon was from your Blue’s Clues notebook. As I write this two years later the writing is still on the wall!
Dawn, This is so cute. I luv how you pulled the decorations and matted them for the border. The three colors of mats are great with your LO. Great job.

I love this one to...this is a great lo to show later in life..it reminds me of our little one...she did the same thing but right after we had painted her room...I guess she just needed to do her own thing...

The way you did the title is very creative and looks fantastic. I love how you used the alpha beads. The colors are very striking in this layout. My favorite part though is the journaling. What mother of a toddler can't relate to that? :) Super job on this.

What a sweet memory (now...maybe not then LOL) that you have scrapped. My DS pulled the wall paper border off the wall on Thanksgiving I've yet to scrap that but do have the photos! LOL
I like the floss and beads and the little photos on the side. I like the journaling right on the matting and paper tearing always looks good to me. I like the whole layout.

Wonderful journaling! I had to laugh, because my little one is our home artist. I like your beads on the fibers going across. This really is a great accent to go with the journaling.
