Goodness, where to start...

Well, I mentioned that Katherine was in a car accident as she headed off to UND on Friday and that we were going to give her our truck so she wouldn't be without a vehicle. So she heads out on Saturday. 2 hours after she left I get a phone call - another accident!!!! Thank god no one was injured, but it was absolutely horrible. She was on the interstate and everyone came to a very fast stop. The car behind her went into the shoulder and there was a car on her left - she was trapped. She had a good 3 car length distance between her and the car in front of her but it wasn't enough. The truck looks sickening - completely smashed in. Katherine was absolutely hysterical. I was able to get to her within a couple of hours. My fabulous inlaws were able to drop everything and fly up from Texas to take care of the boys and Maryann. So once everything was situated, we loaded my car with all her stuff and I drove her to school. So from Saturday afternoon through Monday I drove 30+ hours. Thankfully, my mother in law was also able to fly up to Fargo and help me with the drive back.

2 accidents in 2 days. unreal.

That's horrible, poor Katherine. My daughters would think it was a sign to choose a different college.

I'm glad she is ok. Hopefully no more accidents in her future.

I'm so sorry, and so glad she's OK.

I echo what Jen said though. The superstitious in me would be wondering whether something was trying to tell me something.

Oh I know!! Luckily she already attended summer school and loves it there; otherwise we'd be asking for a refund!
