Church, cleaning, another family meal out (fathers' day) and hayfever for me. It would be a lot more fun without the hayfever.

What does your day look like?

Hanging out around the house and getting some fresh air and exercise, looks like a nice day, and my husband was traveling this week so that's what he wants. We are planning a special Father's Day scavenger hunt dinner. We have tickets that he can exchange for his meal and gifts and we will be hiding them around the house. We printed up clues for where each one is. Easy to plan stuff like this when he is out of town for a few days.

About to head out for an 8 mile run. Then I need to do my usual Sunday laundry and grocery shopping

Hubby left early this morning on his trip so no Father's Day plans here. We just enjoyed World Cup all day long yesterday with lots of junk food, lol!!

I love your idea Louise, I'll bet the kids really enjoyed planning that!

My kids are at my parents and DH is working all day so not much FD activity here. Hopefully the kids will remember to call their Dad tonight, it's hard with him working and the 3 hour time difference.

For me it's housework, church, grocery shopping, housework. I can't barely contain my excitement, LOL!

Enjoy your Sunday!

Louise sounds like a fun time!

Today I am finishing up laundry, just made the BF and I breakfast. Before work, I am going to add titles to a few pages that I was working on last night. And make two cards. Then I have to work at 4 tonight at the Inn.

Well, while making a card I wanted to us a printed paper out of this new pack of paper called All Girl from Micheal. I open it up to only find my self disappointed because its ALL Christmas paper. (I will use it but couldn't use the paper I wanted too).

Chris and I got up early and went to breakfast. I tried to get Char out of bed but she was too grumpy. She said if I had said something last night, she'd have been prepared but she couldn't get out of bed.

I came home and finished a scrapbook page and a card I started last night. Then Char and I went strawberry picking. Such a beautiful day here!! We are going to eat on the early side. Chris didn't really want to do anything today. He wound up putting in a watering system for my garden-something HE wanted to do.

A sunny day here today so I've been outside quite a bit doing .....well, outside stuff
I just found out that a friend of my Husbands passed away a few days ago, so when Ron phones tonight I'll have to tell him the sad news. They went to school together so they have know each other for many, many years.

We went to church this morning. Me, my mil, and my fil all cried at different times throughout the service today. Lilly's bf met us there. He's spending the day at our house.

When we got home we ate lunch and watched Uncle Buck. lol

Camy and Abby are painting. Lilly and Brennan are outside (avoiding Camy and Abby.) Abby clings to Brennan quite a bit. During Uncle Buck she was cuddling with him and almost fell asleep.

Now I need to get something accomplished. I'm going to start with putting the dishes in the dishwasher away and sweeping/mopping/vacuumin g the floors. I've learned not to fuss to much over the house before a party because there is always cleaning up to do the day after.

I need to make two father's day cards. I procrastinated just a tad. It's been an emotional week.

Jen, thinking about you and the girls today. {hugs}

sounds like Brennan is a good kid - they say little kids and dogs have the best judges of character and I believe it!

J- thought of you all today, spent some time praying for you all. *hugs*.

Today ds woke up early and wanted to give daddy his gifts, so we did that and then the boys went downstairs and I went back to sleep! I thought that was pretty sweet.

We had church, had to clean out the nursery at church because they are redoing the floors, came home had lunch and decided to invite my dad and sisters over for supper. Spaghetti and cake for dessert.

After they left we played some games and I tidied up a bit but am absolutely wiped. Will have to finish it up tomorrow.
Hitting the sack here soon...

Jen & for you and your babies.

Got up early today and ran to Home Depot to grab my dad a gift card. Yes, I'm the WORST procrastinator ever. Transfered some pics from my BFF's phone to mine... they're moving and I'm so sad. Been working since 130. Today is my 10 hour shift. I'm trying to keep myself entertained... 3 more hours, 3 more hours...

Geesh..... just realized I didn't even post on the Saturday thread

Yesterday Mark took our T-bucket up to the car show early, then we walked up mid morning to look at all of the entries and visit with friends. I got too much sun on my nose and shoulders, but otherwise a great day! Spent last evening visiting with new friends - fun!

This morning we were up early again (wth ?) lol ...... he needs to get back to work so I can sleep in! But we went to Third Sunday Market and found a few treasures. The perfect / retro kitchen table was my fav!

Came home & scrapped a bit this afternoon, then his kids came for steaks & dinner at 5. Good / exhausting weekend!
