Saturday we'll be celebrating with my side of the family at my house. We're fairly casual and like to do sandwiches of some sort with salads. Picnic type foods. They only request that I have to make deviled eggs and M&M cookies. No set time.

Sunday we'll be celebrating with Phil's side of the family. They like to have more of a traditional meal, and always request that I bring sweet potatoes. We'll eat around 4pm so we have plenty of time to go to church.

I'll make a ham, scalloped potatoes, rolls, corn casserole and some kind of dessert.

Only people there will be me, Chris and the kids.

Pretty low key and relaxed for us. We'll eat whenever it's ready.

Saturday we will be at my IL's celebrating there this year. We switched it up as my kids have 2 places for his side and 2 places for her side to go to this year. We always have mashed potatoes/beef & noodles over there. Everyone loves the way she makes it so she fixes it all.the.time. (ought to be fun on my new eating plan LOL)

My family celebrates for supper on Easter. It will be ham and whatever everyone else brings as it is a take-a-long. I'm taking fresh fruit and pickled cucumbers (a blast from my Mom's past -- no one makes those like she did and I found her recipe )

Nothing special to eat, just lots of singing. We have an Easter egg between us. I might make a cake but we're not really cakey people.

I have no idea. My mom hasn't said anything and hubby's mom always waits till the last minute. Although I don't think she will plan anything as I think her church always has a meal after Easter services, like for lunch. Their church did send us a card which was so nice and several people from their church signed it and it said we were invited to their Easter service, but it gave no information of a time which I found weird. I will probably go to sunrise services at my church and then the men cook breakfast for the women. Then I will probably go home & shower (don't wanna smell like a grease pit all day) and then get ready for morning services. Not sure what well do for lunch. Maybe I should plan something huh?

no big plans here. Friday we are having a potluck at the church for part of our Easter Friday service. I think I will take a dessert.
My sister is working all weekend (nights) so I doubt my dad is planning an easter meal. If someone invites us out, great, if not we will make due at home and enjoy some quality family time together.

I do have a ham in the freezer but would like to save it for when we have friends over.

No plans here, my son & DIL are getting ready for finals, so won't be home and my daughter & SIL will be spending the day with his family.

I have to work the Easter Brunch buffet at the hotel, so won't be home until after 5pm. My DH will get to spend his day doing what he likes best, golfing!

Our traditional easter meals start today - Thursday: spinach with potatoes and fried eggs, Friday: fish and potatoes, Saturday: cut up hams, sausages, pork, eggs and horseradish ( which is brought to church first) and Saturday and Monday( which is a Holiday here too): Some ham dish or just eat what's left from the easter meat.
