I have too many things on my "to do" list today. There's no way I'll get everything done, but the sun is out so that makes me want to try.

What are you doing?

We only got about a quarter inch snow, and it seems like to stopped already, so that's good. Our governor called a state of emergency before it even started, that seems a little ridiculous given that they had changed the prediction to very little, which is what we got.

Today I have to do the laundry I didn't do yesterday and maybe take my husbands car for an oil change, I told him I would do it while he was away, but I walk to and from the place and it has been so cold since he left.

Well I have power and am so thankful. Girls didn't have school. According to the news they were expecting major power outages all over the state but have hardly any. The snow is still coming down but I am not going out in it. I called the pharmacy about Cassidy's med's and my uncle answered and said he has no idea when they will get the order in today, but he would bring it home with him this evening (he lives 2 houses away). I am not sure what my plan is for today. Thought about cleaning, but might just take it easy.

ummm hi... *yawn*, I should be awake after about 13 hours of sleep, I guess my body really needed that sleep.
I need to get up and moving and head to the church to get some things done. It's my only day this week to do so.

Other than that, not sure. I start physio tonight.

I am waiting for my MIL to show up so I can take her to Costco. Then I'm not sure what I will do. I have plenty I should be doing, but just not in the mood for it. So we'll see what happens!!

I woke up extremely dizzy this morning. I guess I got the intestinal bug that's been going through our house. Abby had it, then Camy, now me. Hopefully Lilly won't get it.

I started making Abby's breakfast and had to sit down on the floor. I was so dizzy and clammy. Then I sent Abby down to get Lilly, and Lilly helped Abby get ready for school.

I have an appointment with social security later. I called to reschedule, but it's all automated. The first time they hung up on me. The second time the automated 'person' said it was going to be a 35 minute wait for a rep. I'm thinking it would just be easier to go in. Probably more of a pain to reschedule. My dad was going with me anyway and he'll be driving. I guess if I vomit in their trash can I'll tell them I tried to reschedule, but their phone service sucks. lol Hopefully it won't take to long. If I start to feel worse again I'll try to call and cancel again.

Ugh Jen, that stinks. Rest up. I know what you mean though, sometimes it's easier to do something rather than reschedule even if you are sick. I really hope your feel better fast! Maybe it will be the twenty four hour bug?

I had a very busy weekend and have decided to stay home this morning and early afternoon. I might go for a run at the healthclub after naps but I'm not sure. I have things I need to do at home. After school the girls start girls on the run so I don't have to pick them up until 4:15. Then we have to go pick out ceramic pieces for Mia's party. Then homework and dance for Binks. Dinner will be eaten on the run but I will make them something hearty and healthy. I'll just pack it and they can eat in the car. Busy night.

I'm finally making my kumquat preserves. They are boiling now.

I have decided not to go to the church. My body is feeling tired and weak and like jello. So I think I better play it safe and just stay home. It just happened I had some of my church work home with me so I can get done what I need/want to here.

I had to google what a kumquat even looked like! LOL
Don't know that I've ever seen one & know I've never tried one. Is it similar to anything I might be familiar with?

The rind is sweeter than the inside flesh. It's very citrusy. If you mixed a tangerine and a lemon you might get a close taste of the kumquat but not quite. They are small and taste wonderful in preserves. My Nona used to make them and I am now able to replicate her preserves. It's like tasting home again!

Crazy week for school schedule this week. Freshman and Sophmores have testing, so Sr/Jr don't have to go in until 12:30. So up early to get M and David off to school, Paul just left for school and K will head out in 40 min or so. I went for a short run, ran some errands and while I should finish up the laundry and sweep/vacuum; I think I will take a nap. I have been fighting something for awhile and I think it is finally taking hold, ugh.

Was not ready for the alarm to go off this morning; quit smoking yesterday and had a restless nights sleep.

Work on getting the "piles" off my desk and making headway.

Will probably work late tonight to get some stuff done in total peace.

Taking the kids to Wings for dinner. Monday night is $.49 wing night. We can eat and tip for less than $10.00 - can't cook that cheap!

After that, I pulled some bins to start packing up the "less used" things around the house. I'm going from a huge scrapbooking space to an 8 x 10 room, so I have to compact my things to make it all fit - or figure out how to go up the walls, rather than across.
