but it isn't working. Char left a school project to the last minute and spent the whole afternoon in my craft room to edit it. I had done everything I wanted to do this weekend so I could have Sunday afternoon to myself to stamp, scrap…whatever. I was actually going to play. I didn't get that time. So now I am angry. I know it is the age but that does not make the anger disappear.

I love both her and my dh but I wish they would go away for the weekend and leave me alone by myself.

We all need time to ourselves once in awhile.

Girl, I know exactly what you mean. I've been feeling a bit like that lately too. I truly think that part of it is the fact that we are all inside all the time and don't really get to be away from each other. It bugs me when I find some time to go into my office to scrap and Greg decides I need company from him. I really am trying to get away from them all! LOL

Been there done that, got the t-shirt. It's very frustrating. My other favorite it telling me at 8PM "I have to have blue clay for class tomorrow." Or poster board, or a glue gun.

Next week I have a short business trip to New Orleans - the travel agent was having a hard time getting me in early enough for the meeting on Monday. So I said just fly me out on Sunday. Then I had her give me a morning flight. All I could think was 24 hours of peace and quiet, LOL!

Mine leave me alone plenty, sometimes too much. But I definitely have the last minute: I need a library book/poster board/whatever for school tomorrow. When did you find out you needed it? Last Wednesday. So, why are you only telling me about it now when I have somewhere to go?

Um - they never grow out of that.

Last Sunday at 11pm I had to run DH's Tai Chi sweatshirt through the machine on a short cycle, iron the darned thing dry and leave it draped over the dehumidifier all night in the hope that it would be fit to use the next day. I got to bed at stupid-o'clock.

to you.

Okay ladies, try not to be resentful of me, but.....

I'm always home alone, all day long!! And yep, I totally enjoy it! I can do what I want, when I want, and no one to answer to!

But, yes, sometimes it does get lonely. That's why I go out to lunch with friends from time to time. And I'm always glad when Dave is home and we can spend time together.

Just try to remember that feeling when you ask her to do something that interrupts her plans. It goes both ways and it's just part of being a family. Sometimes they drive you crazy, sometimes you're the bus driver!
