Has anyone had any experience cutting heat transfer vinyl (i have the kind by cricut) on a silhouette? I see all sorts of different settings for HTV, I have seen to put the blade on 2,3, and 9. which is a big difference! I did one the other day with it on 2 and it didn't cut thru to the other side. the one i just did with the blade on 3, speed of 1, thickness of 33 and double cut, made a bit of a "messy" cut. there are some small areas, that it totally messed up the vinyl (and cut into my mat because it picked up the vinyl)

thanks!!

I didn't want to read and run, but I'm sorry, I've never tried cutting vinyl. Is this for the glasses? I hope you find some help - good luck!

Thanks!! This is for a separate project. (a project like this http://pinknlemon.blogspot.com/2012/04/splitting-l... Thought I had everything right before but need to make sure I'm sure before the next time I cut it... this stuff is no card stock, expensive!

I ended up doing something different for the wine glasses. I learned something that I don't actually need something to wrap around after all, so i am doing something like a frog or bird. just a shape.
