My Christmas cards for posting are done, I just have another bunch of stamps to buy. I have DH's dry cleaning to drop off, then I'll come home and put the tree up. Really I will, honest.

I have a card to make too before choir practice tonight, for our organist's celebration of 70 years as an organist. Not the kind of thing you can find in the shops! He was appointed as organist for the first time at age 12. Isn't that amazing?

What are your plans for the day?

clean the kitchen (I hope) also vacuum. The table is pretty much cleaned off, wow it was a mess, everything was just thrown on it.
Resting too.
Tonight the boys are going to a hockey game so I am sitting at home resting and wrapping presents! can't wait.

I need to finish up my Christmas shopping for out of town family. I also need to order cookies for Maryann's class party. We have a cookie shop just down the street and they make the most adorable decorations on top of 3 inch cookies. I thought that would be cute

and yes, I still need to address Christmas cards. I literally spent all day yesterday wrapping the kids' presents. The most challenging thing was just trying to remember where I had hid everything, lol.

Rosey, that IS amazing! Wow! My grandma played for a long time too but I don't think she started at 12. I will have to ask my Mom when she started.

More cleaning here...fun times, LOL! Unfortunately DH is on night shift tonight so I won't be able to work on our bedroom/bathroom after noon today nor will I be able to run the carpet scrubber. So I guess this afternoon will be dusting or something quiet.

Wow, 70 years!!

I did some ironing this morning to get that caught up. I may see if there's enough to wash a load. Possibly a sweep and mop and run the vacuum around. Clean up the kitchen. I still have a handful of cards to make and I have to stop at the PO for stamps when I drop son off this afternoon that I forgot to ask about the other day.

Roadtrip!

Mark is getting off work by noon and we are headed to Indy to see Trans Siberian Orchestra tonight! I'm so excited - know it'll be great! It was a Christmas gift to us from my friend Reba. We're spending the night, then shopping tomorrow.

So I'm finishing laundry now and am gathering things to pack.

I'm not doing anything exciting.

Work.
At lunch I hope to work on a photo book (brought my iPad to work so that I could).

Nothing tonight, hope to do more on the photo book before my Sweetie gets back from out of town.

Might do some laundry this evening, if I feel motivated.

Since I woke up this morning to my car missing, guess I will find some things to do around here rather than running out and trying to find that last present that I need to buy.

Sooooo, will start the laundry and wrap the gifts we do have. Hopefully DH will figure out what is going on with his vehicle so mine comes back to me.

It's cold outside so this probably works better than what I had originally planned.

Huh. 40 minute queue at the post office just to buy stamps. And then the dry cleaner's was closed. It shouldn't have been, the sign on the door said they didn't close till 5:30pm but hey. And DH won't be home for tea.

I suppose I'll get the organist's card done next. Ideas... ideas...

I might. It might distress our organist though! I've decided. I've found a 7-verse funny poem about organists, and I'm going to make an accordion card, 1 page for each verse. I've got tags for each choir member to write their tribute on and I'm going to tuck them all in behind the verses.

Where is your car Karen?

70 years is truly amazing!

How fun Steph!

I went to the healthclub this morning. Camo home, took nap, picked up the girls, went to store for food, came home, put dinner in the oven and laundry in washer. Now I'm doing homework with the girls, fighting with Mia and doing chores.
