Let's do it! I did Zumba yesterday, it was really intense and I got all sweaty which is great since it's very cold in there and nobody ever sweats LOL

Today I have my grit class and I'm sure it will kick my butt. I hate it because it really uses the max effort motto and you end up feeling like you are going to throw up but I works!

Yesterday I did abs, chest, and triceps. I pressed 40# dumbbells. I'll eventually work back up to the 50#'s. Not working out for almost 6 weeks made a difference. Especially during my leg workout Saturday.

Today was cardio (stairs and walking.)

Well, I did biceps, triceps, back, chest, lunges and squats today. I was terrible!! I am really out of shape. I was actually embarrassed with the trainer because I am so out of shape and am so mad at myself for letting myself get like this. However, I am doing the right thing by going back to the gym, I know.

Every little step helps girls! I was a bit wimpy at grit today too after being so sick. I think I'm going to do a run tomorrow and kick up my metabolism.

Well, on Monday I ran 8 miles in an hour 40 minutes which is blazing fast for me! Yesterday I ran 4 miles then did Zumba. I managed to twist my ankle half way through luckily today was my day off anyway. I am supposed to run 6 miles tomorrow, we shall see.

Nothing today, not even much walking. I'll go for a walk tomorrow even if Phil's not feeling up to it. Maybe I'll do a few squats and lunges too.

I ended up staying home last night because Greg didn't get home until late. Right now I'm dressed and ready to go to my total body conditioning class.

Woohoo!!!!! I dragged myself to the rec center this evening and to my great surprise I had a fantastic run! I did 6 miles in 1:09.13!!!! I am so proud of myself

That's awesome Marta! I took two classes this. Morning and I came home dead to the world but super happy that I got to do it. I might run tomorrow.

My knee just doesn't want to heal, so even though I know I shouldn't - I ran through the pain today. 8 miles in 1:41.29; not too shabby

Girl, you better be careful. One of my workout buddies started out like that and kept working out. Ended up in surgery and out of the gym for three months. You don't want to mess with the joints at our age! Not that we are old LOL

I'm sitting on my bed right now freezing my doopa off telling myself that I need to get ready for Zumba. I just don't want to get out of my pjs and into cold clothes! I will though because I want to have a good workout so I can face rehearsals for dance this afternoon and evening.

I've got grit today but I think I'll go on Thursday instead, I need the girls in bed early so I need to be home to make dinner and do homework.

I almost talked myself out of going, but I went! Chest/triceps/abs

I pressed the 45's today! My hanging leg raises were tight too. Strong day!

and Vivi, I shall take your advice. My knee is just so uncomfortable now. I will let it heal before I really make it impossible to run. It is just a shame, though. I have finally gotten to a point where I can really run for a long distance; I hate to lose all that conditioning

You'll get it back and will feel better while doing it. I don't mess with my knees, I'm too scared of not being able to work out at all. Exercise speaks to me in a way that not many things can so losing that all together would be horrible for me. Heal quickly!
