We're going out, so purchasing is the best answer for me. But last year, of the 6 of us, I was the only one who ordered traditional T-day turkey. This year there will be 13 - wonder if anyone else will want the traditional meal.

Roasting, and Abby already called dibs on basting the turkey. I'm also making cranberry sauce, gluten free stuffing, sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes or twice baked potatoes (for the sweet potato haters), pumpkin pie, M&M cookies, and possibly pecan pie.

I think I'll do the turkey that Friday or Saturday since we are going out with the family on Thursday. I'll be roasting it. Also on the menu will be mashed potatoes, roasted yams, pecan pie, corn and a salad. Oh, and stuffing!

There's just the 4 of us this year.

Roasting with stuffing
Mashed potatoes/gravy
Corn pudding
Green bean casserole
Pumpkin pie

I'm sure we'll throw a couple other things in there a well.

None of the above. I have to work that day at the hotel. We will get together with family in Sacramento the day after, going to an Italian restaurant as that is where my mother in-law wants to go for dinner.

I'm just eating it

My oldest cousin is hosting, I'm sure it will be roasted, our family has never done it any other way. I have to bring mashed potatoes. Believe it or not, I've never made mashed potatoes, so I'm a bit nervous!

Roasting a turkey
Mashed Potatoes w/gravy
Sweet Potato Casserole with Marshmallows
Stovetop Stuffing (also per my DH, what's up with that?)
Green beans (might do casserole)
Pumpkin Mousse

It's just the four of us this year so I'm not making a huge spread.

I haven't had to cook a turkey the last several years because we've been going to Denver, and the girls have done all the cooking.

My guess is the turkey will be roasted.
Mashed potatoes and gravy
Pumpkin Pie.

Other than this, I have no idea what else is on the menu....
